Car Insurance with Liability Coverage
According to the law, every car owner must have one type of car insurance: Liability insurance. It is necessary, for example, if you were to collide with a cyclist, as liability insurance covers the damages to both the cyclist and their bike – however, it does not cover damages to your own car.
In addition to the mandatory liability insurance, you can choose from 4 different car insurance options with comprehensive coverage: Partial Coverage, Comprehensive Coverage, and Car Super / Leasing Super.
The choice of which of our car insurances to select depends partly on your car's age and market value, how dependent you are on it, and how often – or how seldom – you experience damages.
Car Insurance with partial-comprehensive coverage
If you choose car insurance with partial coverage, you will, among other things, have coverage for damages resulting from fire and theft, as well as legal and roadside assistance abroad.
This car insurance does not cover damages that you are personally responsible for and is most commonly used for slightly older cars with a lower market value.
Partial-comprehensive coverage covers:
- Mandatory liability insurance
- Theft and robbery of the car
- Theft of car parts
- Damages after attempted theft
- Break-ins Fire, lightning, explosion, and short-circuiting
- Roadside assistance abroad
- Legal assistance
- Rental car
- Additional equipment up to 50,000 kroner
- Psychological crisis help
Car Insurance with Comprehensive Coverage
Car insurance with comprehensive coverage is one of the most common car insurances in Denmark. If you have a loan or other lien on your car, the lender will often require you to have car insurance with comprehensive coverage for your vehicle.
Comprehensive coverage covers:
- Everything that Partial Coverage covers
- All damages that you or another driver of the car are responsible for
- All damages that the opposing party is required to pay. You won't have any hassle – and your car will be repaired immediately. We simply pay for the repair of your car – and take care of getting the money from the opposing party's insurance company.
- Damages inflicted on the insured vehicle, such as collisions, impacts, parking damage, or single accidents.
